BIRDIES & BENDERS
As the name suggests, Birdies & Benders is all about flipping the script on the high-brow image that's been associated with golf since its inception. B&B celebrates the aspects of the sport that resonate with today's generation of golfers: friends, drinks, an overuse of the driver, and a good time out on the green.
To reflect the free-spirited nature of the clothing brand, an equally free-spirited identity was crafted. The colour palette and badge treatment were chosen to connect back to the classic aesthetics of golf, but the characters within the wordmark and badges begin to flip and twist as if they were a few drinks in. Still-life photography (shot by Jan Snarski) and a suite of custom illustrations was also created to cleverly connect the worlds of golf and drinking culture.
